The video above “Death Of The Axiom” is taken from the crew’s upcoming mixtape “General Waste”, which is coming soon. If you’re a bit lost by the title, as I was, “axiom” means a logical starting point for reasoning; something accepted without controversy. Since the title implies an end to this, what do we have in store? Well, simply a well-constructed piece of work. An ominous beat, with a slightly glitchy feel to it. Visuals-wise, things definitely get a bit wonky: ash in the wine amidst a dinner with a blow up doll. JPEG dresses up well and raps clearly but threateningly at the camera. Not your typical hip hop video or track, but it has a good look to it, and we’re looking forward to seeing/hearing more from these guys soon.
