Ramson Badbonez is all set to drop his “A Year In The Life Of Oscar The Slouch” album on High Focus Records on the 9th December. The album is entirely produced by Charlie Mac and boasts features from Fliptrix, Rag n Bone Man, Row.D, Jam Baxter, Joker Starr, Mystro, Gadget, Genesis Elijah, Jinxsta JX and M.A.B.
We’ve been lucky enough to receive an advance copy, and we can tell you that this story-telling concept album is going to be epic. Another addition to the High Focus catalogue, and a real fine piece of work from Ramson Badbonez, who has been rapping for many years, and is upheld as one of the UK’s finest. Our Review will be coming soon enough, but for those of you who can’t wait, take the plunge and get your pre-order copy now from High Focus or iTunes.
This video is a real gem too. Featuring an 8-bit style, the product oozes originality and class. Ramson takes an omnipresent role, lacing the beat with his tales. He rhymes raw, but his bars sink in, painting images in the mind, and taking the listener on a journey through Ramson’s eyes.
We’ll keep you updated on news from Ramson. In the meantime, let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
if anyone could post the lyrics here it would be really apreciated
Despiration Runs Deep,
Especially Flooding amongst the unclean,
running from november streets in the cold,
unappreciated from scopolamine in the broke,
and so this is the main reason i wrote this song,
thats for the have nots, caught in the trap shot
carrying crack rocks from bad block to bad block,
the main options are shottin and chain robbin,
or make profits from the drug game and inflate pockets,
bent and legless with no respect for their health
no respect for much else
and no respect for themselves,
can’t spell can’t write and can’t read,
while filled with a heart full of greed to start beef,
the dumb deaf and blinded one track minded,
in a sunset grinding looking for happiness,
but they just can’t find it, trying to build a reputation,
now thats a form of desperation, wasting away your
education now thats a step to despiration ,
can’t elevate a generation, you feel the sense of desperation,
i hustle from sun up to sun….down,
early from early birdies that run round,
ducking out when under covers come round,
off the radar and unfound, blunt wraps and
skunk clouds, guns gats to slum house,
just me and four friends looking to make more ends,
taught to fend for ourselves and embrace the torment,
finger tips hurting, we got the heroin chopped,
a slashers head on my cock its oral sex on the block
scatty hood chicks are only good for one thing,
little dumb young things, buckets and tongue rings,
some girls drunk on labirini, belling off my phone
for a bag a green just to see me.
the dumb deaf and blinded chicks give up sex grinding,
in a sunset grinding looking for happiness,
but they just can’t find it, trying to build a reputation,
now thats a form of desperation, wasting away your
education now thats a step to despiration ,
can’t elevate your generation,
you feel the sense of desperation,
